





Chaguar Chardonnay
Vintage: 2024
Tasting notes: Elegant and quietly expressive, this Chardonnay offers up aromas of white peach, nectarine and patisserie cream, with a hint of roasted cashew peeking through. On the palate, it’s seamless - flavoursome yet refined, with beautifully integrated oak, lively acidity and a long, harmonious finish. Balanced, textural and built for both immediate pleasure and graceful ageing.
Winemaker’s notes: Sourced from a distinguished early-ripening vineyard along the Kalgan River - tucked between Albany and the Porongurups - this Chardonnay benefits from a cool climate and pristine fruit. After a little skin contact, the juice was pressed and fermented wild in a mix of new and seasoned puncheons. Left unsulphured on full solids over the damp Denmark winter, it was later racked and rested in tank to settle and integrate before bottling. Named after the Chaguar’s patient hunting style, this wine doesn’t chase attention - it slowly lures you in. Leave a glass on the table and the fine stone fruit and cashew-laced aromas will do the rest.
