La Ciornia

$74.00

Vintage: 2018

Tasting notes: Slides in soft and sultry, with lifted aromas of red cherry, cinnamon, and a hint of anise over fine herbal lift and a whisper of briar. On the palate it’s medium-weight and silky - supple fruit steps aside as a tightening mid-palate builds, leading into a light pucker and a sweet-fruit finish. Think juicy, fresh, and pepper-spiced, with cool-acid energy and just enough structure to keep you reaching for another glass. It’s elegant Shiraz with a heartbeat.

Winemaker’s notes: From old-vine Shiraz in Great Southern, grown and handled with minimal intervention. Wild ferment in open-top vessels, pressed gently, matured in seasoned oak. The goal? A wine that’s rich and concentrated, but fresh, spicy, and totally drinkable - more Rhône whisper than Barossa scream. This is Shiraz with balance, poise, and a whole lot of charm.
